24-Hour Depository
Our 24-hour depository boxes are located at the front entrance of the Main Bank in Bellwood, inside the first door at the David City North Branch Bank, and by the drive through windows at the Branch Banks in Platte Center, Columbus, Humphrey, Downtown David City, and Schuyler. These boxes offer maximum security for your business and personal deposits.
Customers can also make deposits at the ATMs located at the bank locations in Bellwood, David City, Columbus, Humphrey, and Schuyler.
Safe Deposit Boxes
Safe Deposit Boxes are used to store small items of value or important papers which could be lost, misplaced or stolen, e.g. birth certificates, wills, immunization records, deeds, passports, titles, certificates of deposit, etc. Contents are not insured by the FDIC or the Bank.

VISA Purchase Alerts
Your Bank of the Valley VISA Check Card is eligible for free Visa Purchase Alerts. VISA Purchase Alerts will provide enrolled cardholders with email messages to alert them when certain types of activity occur on their VISA card.
Receive an email when:
- A purchase meets or exceeds an amount that you determine.
- Your card is used to make a purchase outside the United States.
- A purchase is made by phone or online.

FEES AND CHARGES
The following fees and charges may be assessed against your account:
| Overdraft Fee (An overdraft fee of $30.00 will be charged per item for covering overdrafts created by check, ACH, and other types of transactions. Overdraft fees are capped at three fees per day, or $90.00 total. An overdraft fee will not be charged for paying an ATM or one-time debit card transaction. An overdraft fee will also not be charged if the account is negative $30.00 or less or if the item overdrawing the account is $30.00 or less. | $30.00 |
